This Privacy Policy explains how Construction & Inspection Division (CID) LLC (“CID LLC,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website, request an estimate or consultation, or book an appointment. By using this website you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact details: full name, email address, phone number, and street address or ZIP code.
• Project details: the type of project you are interested in and your preferred timeline.
• Appointment details: the date and time you select and any information you enter when booking through our scheduling calendar.

Information collected automatically

• Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and user agent.
• Usage information: pages viewed, which steps of the request form were reached, the page you arrived on, and the website that referred you.
• Advertising information: ad click identifiers and campaign parameters included in the link you clicked, such as Meta’s fbclid, Google’s gclid, and UTM campaign, ad set, and ad names.
• Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 3.

3. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies

Meta Pixel. This website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel places a cookie in your browser (_fbp, which lasts up to 90 days) and sends Meta information about your visit, including your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, and actions you take, such as viewing a page or submitting a request. When you submit a request, we send Meta an event identifier so the same request is not counted twice. The Meta Pixel may also collect contact information you type into forms on this website, such as your email address or phone number, in hashed (scrambled) form, so Meta can match your visit to a Meta account for ad measurement.

Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from this website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. Meta may combine this information with other information it has about you. Meta’s use of this information is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Browser session storage. While your browser tab is open, we store your form progress, the ad and campaign parameters from the link you clicked, and a random session identifier in your browser’s session storage. It is used to carry your request through to the booking page and to count form completion rates. Your browser deletes it when you close the tab.

Scheduling calendar. Our booking calendar is provided by HighLevel (LeadConnector) and may set its own cookies to operate the calendar.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. There is no common standard for them, and this website does not currently respond to them. You can still use the choices in Section 7.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to your request, prepare an estimate, and schedule and confirm appointments.
• To contact you about your project by phone, text message, or email.
• To check that the information you submitted is valid and that your location is within our service area.
• To measure how our advertising performs, understand which ads lead to requests, and show relevant ads to you and to people similar to our customers.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To comply with the law and enforce our rights.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here.

• Service providers that process information on our behalf under contract: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (secure database storage of your request), and HighLevel/LeadConnector (customer relationship management, scheduling, and communications).
• Our marketing partner, which operates this website and our advertising on our behalf and may access your request to deliver it to us and measure results.
• Advertising partners: Meta receives information through the Meta Pixel as described in Section 3. Under some U.S. state laws this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out as described in Sections 7 and 8.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.

6. Phone calls, text messages, and email

When you submit a request, you agree that CID LLC may contact you about your project at the phone number and email address you provide, including by phone call, text message (SMS), and email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.

7. Your choices

• Facebook and Instagram ads: adjust your Meta ad preferences, including the setting for ads based on data from partners.
• Interest-based advertising: opt out through the Digital Advertising Alliance, AppChoices for mobile apps, or the Network Advertising Initiative.
• Cookies: block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some features work.
• Communications: reply STOP to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or email cidllcpro@gmail.com.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, New Jersey, and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a portable copy.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling.
• Appeal our decision on your request.

To make a request, email cidllcpro@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and include your name and the email address or phone number you used. We will verify your request by matching the details you provide to our records and respond within the time required by law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents: in the last 12 months we collected identifiers, contact details, internet and device activity, approximate location from IP address, and project information, from you and your browser, for the purposes in Section 4. We disclosed identifiers and internet activity to Meta for advertising, and all categories to the service providers in Section 5. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

9. How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide our services, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and warranty obligations. We then delete it or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete it sooner as described in Section 8.

10. How we protect information

This website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Submitted requests are stored in a database that cannot be accessed from the public internet without secret credentials, and access is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email cidllcpro@gmail.com and we will delete it.

12. Visitors outside the United States

We serve customers in the United States. Information is processed and stored in the United States.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
